3 Awesome Airbnb Florida Listings on the Beautiful Gulf Coast

It’s that time of year, when the snowbirds fly south to the golden sunshine of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Home of breathtaking sunsets, wildlife, and flip flops. Who wouldn’t want to be shacking up during the winter in a place where the only shoveling to be done is the sand for your castle. Sounds pretty awesome right? Well we think so too. That’s why we went scouting for three totally killer Airbnb Florida listings in three of the best areas along the Gulf Coast. Check these out.

Airbnb Florida Listings

Treasure Island, Florida

Airbnb Florida Listings

$50 / night sleeps 2 -1 bedroom

In no particular order, our first of three Airbnb Florida listings is Treasure Island. Just north of St. Pete Beach Florida and south of Madeira Beach is a favorite destination among snowbirds. With the new expansion of John’s Pass restaurants and shopping, there is plenty to do whether the sun is up or down. Enjoy miles of white sand beaches and clear water with a range of wildlife to enjoy. If you like to spend your time on the water here you’ll find a variety of chartered boats, sunset cruises and deep sea fishing excursions. For more information on things to do in Treasure Island click here.

Our Pick for Treasure Island

St. Pete Beach, St. Petersburg, Florida

Airbnb Florida Listings

$105 / night sleeps 4 – 1 bedroom

Our second Airbnb Florida listing is just south of Treasure Island is St. Pete Beach. You’ll find beach resort tiki bars, late night beach clubs and even a fireworks show. This is a mix of local life and tourist life an there’s always room on the beach for suntanning. Enjoy more of the warm Gulf Coast waters here much like Treasure Island. If you go a little further south to the most southern point of St. Pete Beach you’ll find a little historic beach town called Pass-A-Grille. Here you get more of that “island life” vibe. You’ll immediately feel like a local. There’s plenty of places to eat just across from the waterfront. A perfect place for catching sunsets. You can even catch a ferry to Egmont Key, an island off the coast once a military fort. For more information on things to do at St. Pete Beach click here.

Our pick for St. Pete Beach

Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island, Florida

Airbnb Florida Listings

$189 / night sleeps 8 3 bedrooms 5 beds.

If you could swim past Egmont Key you’d find yourself at our third Airbnb Florida listing in Holmes Beach. Unfortunately that would be a long swim, so you’ll have to take the breathtaking Skyway instead over to Anna Maria Island. Just a notch or two more of “island life” than Pass-A-Grille, Holmes Beach has some of the bluest shores on Florida’s Gulf Coast. This is a great spot fr dolphin and manta ray watching. In the afternoons you’ll see anglers catching their giant fish and crabs scurrying along the shore. The island has playgrounds, piers, restaurants and shops. There’s even bike rentals and paddle boarding which are great ways to enjoy the salt life.
